With over 35 years in Sports Safety, Security, Law Enforcement and the Military. David has developed a wealth of experience in event management, sports ground safety, public order policing, counter terrorism and managing operational threat and risk.

He is a qualified UK Stadium Safety Officer, Event Crowd Manager, Trainer and Assessor in the work place. As a senior UK Police Officer he was accredited by the College of Policing as a Silver and Bronze Public Order Commander, Policing Events Qualified and Tactical Firearms Commander.

Upon completion of his UK police service, David was employed as the Strategic Lead for Safety and Security at Hillsborough Stadium before taking a position as Security Manager for the England and Wales Cricket Board.

He currently works in the event and security industry as a senior member of FGH Security with strategic responsibility for delivering complex security and crowd safety operations for major events including successful delivery of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, the 2023 Eurovision song contest and international
